Families are overwhelmed with moving their loved ones to a retirement community, assisted living, especially when seniors are adamant about staying in their own home and when they emphatically refuse to be " put away " or feel they are being institutionalized. This is the hardest decision an adult child or spouse will make on behalf of their loved ones. Families ( of the sandwich generation) are juggling careers, their own children, some degree of long- distance caregiving and struggling with the "guilt" of finding an appropriate placement. But a time comes when the senior cannot live safely and independently at home.
Our " placement " process consists of 3 easy steps:
STEP1 - We will personally meet with you and discuss your needs and desires, in order to obtain an individualized assessment. We will discuss and examine the needs from lifestyle to financial affordability. Based on the information provided we be able to provide you with detailed information on the types of senior living options.
Step 2 - We will present you with qualified matches of senior facilities, personal guidance as you examine services, resources, amenities and care options. We will personally take you to visit the facilities that you decide to see and help you with the transition process.
Step 3 - Once the loved one has moved into a facility we will follow up and assist with services ( home health, follow up physician, etc ). Our follow up will be on going for as long as needed.
